It can be made into paste by combining it with a few drops of water. The paste obtained has to be applied on problem areas, letting it dry in place. Oatmeal with water. Combining oatmeal with a few drops of water is another solution for itchiness that's trouble free to make. You can produce better paste if you first grind oatmeal using a spice of coffee grinder. If large areas of the body feel itchy, you may simply dissolve ground oatmeal in a tub of cool water.

Aloe vera gel plus clay. If you have some aloe vera plants in your garden, skin itchiness should never be a big problem. What you need to do is harvest a tablespoon of aloe vera gel. Afterwards, combine it with equal amounts of clay. The resulting cream is very good at providing much needed relief. Aloe vera gel that comes in a tube may also be used, but make sure that it does not contain any unnecessary ingredients.

Basil leaves plus olive oil. Other than making various Italian treats taste and smell wonderful, basil leaves are also superb relievers of skin itching. Harvest a few basil leaves from the garden and start pounding them. Combine with a few drops of olive oil. The resulting goop should be then allowed to remain on itchy areas for 20 to 30 minutes. Afterwards, rinse it off with water very well.

Garlic infused olive oil. Garlic is another popular kitchen ingredient that may be combined with olive oil. All you have to do is mince two to three cloves of it and then saute in half a cup of olive oil. Allow to infuse overnight. The next morning, use as necessary.

Peppermint essential oil plus carrier oil. Lots of topically applied remedies for skin itchiness out there actually share a common ingredient, and that's peppermint essential oil. If you have a bottle of it at home, combine a few drops of it with any carrier oil that you like. Mix and then apply on problem spots with a cotton swab. Rinse off thoroughly after half an hour.

Organic honey warmed up in the microwave. Honey is not just good for sweetening your favorite beverages, but also putting an end to skin itching regardless of its cause. Having a small container of organic honey stashed somewhere in your kitchen means that you got access to an excellent anti itch agent. Many swear that organic honey can impress more if it's warm. Heat up a small amount of it using your microwave. Before applying, see to it that it's not burning hot to prevent complications.
