History About Lyme And Bee Venom Therapy

By Stephen Stewart

Lyme disease is an ailment caused by bacterial infections spread by a bite from a tick. The bacteria are referred to as burgdorferi. All black legged and other species of ticks contain the bacteria. The tick gets the bacteria if they bite a mite or deer infected with this ailment. If the same tick bites you, it can infect you with lyme hence requiring lyme and bee venom therapy.

In 1977, this is when the disease was revealed first in United States of America in a city called Old Lyme. Since then, cases are being reported in different parts of the planet including Europe and Asia. This sickness contains three phases. The first phase is referred to early localize. This is a phase where the microorganisms have not yet extended into the body structure. Phase two is described as early dissemination where the microorganisms start extending into the body.

The third stage is known as late dispersed disease because the bacteria have widely stretched into the body system. The people at risk of acquiring this disease include people who carry out activities based in the open as it increases their chances of being bitten by the tick especially in areas where the disease is prone, those who have pets that are carrying ticks infected and people walking in areas that have high grass.

The most important facts about tick bites that cause this disease are; for the bacteria to get to your blood, the tick has to be attached to the body for 24 to 36 hours, black-legged ticks are normally small thus seeing them might be impossible and therefore you may never realize when you got infected and most importantly, not all people who are bitten by the tick get infected with the disease.

Apitherapy is the process where one uses products produced by bees to treat lyme. The main product is bee venom. Among the other minor products are raw honey, pollen, bee bread, bee wax and royal jelly. The main reason for using this product is to improve circulation of blood, lessening irritation and replication of a strong immune response.

Before undertaking any sort of action, make certain the verdict is accurate. Experts who specialize in apitherapy blend in bee products with venom and add in raw honey that they use as an ointment for applying. The gel is more often than not applied on places that are affected following a bite by ticks. It helps re-establish the skin to its original state.

Techniques applied while treating this disease include whole, mini and macro stings. If one prefer a sting, they will be taken through a test by being stung to establish their body sensitivity. Very few people are affected by bee venoms.

Bee therapy is an old method of curing the disease. According to records, bee venom can also be used to treat other different diseases. Those considering the procedure to cure the ailment should ask for advice from professionals first. The therapy falls under the category of herbal medicines.
